We were met at the dock by Agnes from Tours by Locals who took us in search of old haunts of my wife and her parents who lived in Jakarta in the 70’s. After that we visited the National Monument, Chinatown and then had lunch at the delightful Cafe Batavia in the old town before heading back to our ship. .
